Vote for your local initiative

From January 21 to February 17, all Poles can vote for the most interesting social initiatives in their regions, that will receive funding in the "You choose, we help" scheme. In the fifth edition of the programme organised by Tesco, 375 social organisations will receive grants for the implementation of local projects.

Together with the Tesco Foundation, Tesco has been implementing the social programme since 2016 and it aims at supporting Poles in implementing their ideas for local initiatives. Tesco customers decide which ideas will win in each of the micro-regions, by voting on the most interesting and the most necessary project.

Every vote matters!

Customers can vote from 21 January until February 17, 2019. The submitted projects concern, among others, education, promotion of a healthy lifestyle, revitalization of urban spaces, activation of disabled and elderly people, activities for the benefit of animals and the natural environment, and nurturing local traditions.

In the 5th edition of the program, three grants will be awarded in each of the 125 micro-regions, in the amount of 5,000, 3,000 and 1,000 PLN.

“The ingenuity of the participants in the programme with each edition surprises us more and more. The submitted projects have a real impact on the immediate surroundings of the residents, which is why Tesco customers are strongly encouraged to vote, and the organisations to promote their ideas. We believe that the activities carried out by Tesco can change the world around us for better”, says Katarzyna Michalska-Miszczyk, Head of the Tesco Foundation.
