Little Helps Plan

No matter where we work, we want to have a positive impact on our customers, colleagues and communities.

It’s only possible to serve our shoppers a little better every day through our colleagues’ hard work and skillset.

We employ over 440,000 people around the world and 22,000 in Poland. We recognise that we have a clear responsibility to support them. We’re investing in trainings for our colleagues so they can develop their skills, and have access to a greater number of roles. Inclusivity and creating a culture where everyone feels welcome are integral to our business.

We’re committed to creating a truly inclusive environment where everyone is welcome and feels able to be themselves regardless of race, religion or belief, ethnic or national origin, colour, nationality, gender, gender reassignment, sexual orientation, age, disability, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, political opinions or trade union affiliation.

We value and embrace the diversity of backgrounds, skills and experiences that our over 440,000 colleagues across the world bring to our business to help us serve our customers a little better every day. We are proud to have a culture which enables all of our colleagues to grow and develop their career at Tesco.

In Poland we continue to work on making Tesco a place to get on by continued investment in reward and:

  • Trainings provided to our colleagues and apprentice schemes (2,700 in 2018 across CE), as well as managerial development programmes and introducing inductions schemes
  • Significant focus on culture and engagement, with less hierarchy and more open, agile teams, supported by refreshed Colleague Forums scheme
  • Launching Colleague well-being programme and providing competitive package of benefits.
